The Pilancones hotel was named in commemoration of the large Pilancones hacienda owned by Mr. Eloy Santolalla who was the great-grandfather of the owner of the hotel. This hacienda was located in Hualgayoc and functioned in its heyday as a very important metallurgical office. Many objects from the hacienda are part of the decoration of the Hotel so when you enter you will take a trip back in time.
